PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT (PTA) 

• Applicant must have a Valid New Mexico PTA License ( NM Physical Therapy Board)
• Able to assess the need for, develops and delivers school physical therapy program to facilitate classroom participation
• Identifies the need for and makes referrals to other disciplines to address the comprehensive need of a student
• Implements individualized educational program. therapy program designed to restore, reinforce and enhance performance of students in the schools
• Instructs, educates and trains students, parents and classroom staff in those skills and function essential for promoting independence in the classroom
• Directs activities to promote and maintain health in the school

License Required:  Associates Degree (AA/AS) in Physical Therapy

Must be able to obtain a NMPED Physical Therapy License
