TITLE:  EDUCATIONAL DIAGNOSTICIAN

CLASSIFICATION:  Ancillary

DEPARTMENT:  Educational Dev. Center (SSC)

WORK HOURS:  7.5

CONTRACT LENGTH:  203 Days

To ensure that students referred for Special Education services receive appropriate and timely psycho-educational evaluations and placement. In addition, provide technical assistance to the school and district staff in meeting the needs of Special Education students.

 

Experience: Three years of related work experience, preferably in school system.

 

Education: Must possess a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Educational Diagnostics, or Master’s degree in a related field that included graduate classes in psychometric assessments of both cognitive and academic achievement.

Applicants must have MA degree and possess or have ability to obtain a NM teaching license (New Mexico has an alternative licensure program for applicants who possess a BA degree or higher)
