To deliver the District educational program by teaching  students in the Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) program according to State and District GATE education standards and other appropriate agencies and to provide educational opportunities for GATE students.

Supervision Received and Exercised

Receives general direction from the Principal or assignee.

May exercise technical and functional supervision over supervisory, professional, technical, clerical and volunteer staff.

Must possess or have the ability to obtain an Elementary or Secondary Teaching license with the Gifted endorsement from the New Mexico Public Education Department.
