Work with students interested in sports, provide necessary practice support and advice for a team to be successful against opposing teams in a sports season. Teach and enforce rules and regulations. Involves work on evenings and weekends.
ATHLETIC COACHING LICENSE, 7-12
High School Diploma or Equivalency
AND
Must hold or have the ability to obtain an Athletic Coaching License (http://ped.state.nm.us/licensure/2010/dl10/chklstAthleticCoaches7-12.pdf)
from the New Mexico Public Education Department as well as completing the Fundamentals of Coaching, First Aid, Health and Safety for Coaches online exam offered through the New Mexico Activities Association. (www.nmact.org)
